About

Johneric Concordia and Christine Araquel-Concordia started The Park’s Finest as a catering crew in 2009 with friends from the Echo Park and Historic Filipinotown neighborhood, then opened the Temple Street restaurant in January 2012. The kitchen smokes American barbecue cuts with Filipino seasonings and sauces: Mama Leah’s coconut beef adobo (sixteen-hour smoked chuck stewed in coconut cream, vinegar, chile, and fish sauce), longanisa links, pulled pork, ribs, and Mount Taal-style roast chicken, plus Ann’s cornbread bibingka. Eater, The Infatuation, Discover Los Angeles, and neighborhood press frame it as backyard Filipino-American barbecue rather than a straight Southern rib shack or a traditional fiesta banquet. Wednesday Worker Plate specials remain a recurring local tip for sampling the board. Official hours and ordering live on theparksfinest.com.

Diners say

Public reviews repeatedly praise the coconut beef adobo, smoked meats, and cornbread bibingka. The same threads note a sports-bar energy with TVs, portions that encourage sharing, and a bill that climbs once platters stack. Diners who like it usually want Filipino-seasoned barbecue in a neighborhood booth more than DIY street skewers or a wine-bar rotisserie night.
